Sunday Lake Falls

The town of Wakefield is wrapped around a scenic body of water with the pleasant name of Sunday Lake. Most of the water in this lake comes from the Little Black River, which flows in from the south and empties out to the west to join with the main Black River. However, some of it is diverted to the east through a manmade tunnel of rock. At the mouth of this tunnel there is a pretty little set of drops that form Sunday Lake Falls.
Directions
From the light at US-2/M-28, head north on 28 for 1.3 miles to Thomaston Road. Either park on Thomaston or on M-28 near the guardrail of Plantar Creek. Head down to the creek and follow it a short distance upstream to the falls.
