Silver Creek Falls

pretty waterfall surrounded by mossy conglomerate

A small, scenic waterfall, Silver Creek Falls plunges down a steep conglomerate rock into a deep little pool surrounded by mossy rock walls and overhanging cedars. There are taller, but less steep, drops above the main drop that slide and fan over a wide creek bed.

Directions

Driving southwest out of Eagle River turn right just out of town onto 5 Mile Point Road. Park on the shoulder of the road at 1.8 miles before crossing over the creek’s bridge (which is more of a culvert far below the road than a bridge). Follow the east bank of the creek, sticking to the trails past the log clutter at first, then cutting down to see the falls.
